Spirituality Afternoon

I just wanted to share with everyone what a lovely afternoon I had yesterday! The house captains led an afternoon for the Year 1 children to introduce them to spirituality and our school approach to spiritual moments. I was so impressed with all the children involved!

 

The house captains did a great job explaining the 4 types of spiritual moments and then supported the Year 1 children to complete an activity to support their understanding of each moment. The Year 1 children clearly enjoyed the activities, were incredibly focussed and talked about some quite tricky concepts really clearly. They were also incredibly proud of their spirituality kits which they collected throughout the afternoon and should have bought home yesterday.

 

It was lovely watching our older children work with our younger children and seeing how much both got from the experience.
