What a Week!

What a busy week!
I really hope that your children have shared with you some of the exciting things that they have been involved with this week.
We started the week with Dare to be Different day and it was great to see the children really embrace the message of the day - as well as some amazing looks there were also lots of discussions about how important it is to be yourself and that it is OK to be different from others - it is what makes us all special!
There were then lots of different activities throughout the week linked to interfaith week. The children found out more about both Islam and Hinduism in special worships and everyone in Year 1 - 6 took part in Judaism day on Wednesday. Lydia, who led the day was incredibly impressed, not only with how well our children listened but also in how much they already knew and how keen they were to learn more. Thank you to Mrs Laws for organising the week and to Mrs Andrews for leading the worship on Hinduism
Then finally we finished the week with Children in Need - the spots and stripes looked amazing, I enjoyed the opportunity to wear my dressing gown and more importantly we raised lots of money for Children in Need.
Thank you so much to everyone for supporting all the different events last weeks - I promise a slightly quieter week next week - before all the excitement of Christmas starts for real!
