Everyone enjoyed a good breakfast this morning - well who doesn’t like a choice of bacon, sausages, egg, beans, mushroom, tomato, hash browns, beans and toast! And we enjoyed watching the squirrels and deer out the window - look very closely in the distance in the photo below!
We did a good job of dodging the showers first thing and managed bush craft, abseiling, crate stack and archery but half way through our second activity the heavens opened and thunder and lightening meant we had to come inside. We’re currently watching a quick film before lunch and hoping it clears up a bit this afternoon.
On the positive, we’ve just learned all about what causes thunder and lighting and the children have been fascinated by it rather than scared.
