Choir - the good news and the bad..

Sadly I lost all my Y1 children from choir today - I think they've unanimously decided not to stick with it. I'm really sad but can't force them to love singing! A couple were off poorly so it may not be all but we'll see. I think they've tried it enough and decided that playing outside is more for them during lunchtime... 

On the plus side, I'm trialling something new - a Y6 Chamber Choir. I'm lucky to have 9 dedicated Y6 singers, most of whom have been with me for several years and therefore have had lots of training and whom I think are ready. Fingers crossed for a Christmas song this year from them if we can get it ready in time!
