Good morning all
I owe upper school an apology as I said I would post this on Tuesday but it has been a couple of busy days! I have a feeling that if you have a child in upper school you will have already heard all about Tuesday afternoon.
The children and staff had an amazing time during their Diwali afternoon. They worked in small groups to take part in a range of activities to learn more about Diwali. As part of the afternoon they:
*made Rangoli patterns using natural materials,
*made clay divas,
*made flower garlands,
*learnt some Bollywood dance moves,
*used puppets to roleplay the story of Rama and Sita.
A huge thank to Mrs Andrews for organising it, to her mum for coming into school to support the afternoon and to all the upper school staff that ensured it was such a successful afternoon.
