Following the Covid 19 pandemic, meetings have resumed in school.  However, the FGB has agreed that in certain circumstances e.g. poor weather conditions, some meetings may continue to be held virtually or on a hybrid basis where this aids attendance.  FGB meetings start at 6pm.

These are the six main meetings for the full governing body.  Extra-ordinary meetings may also be called for specific needs.

In addition, there are two Committees which meet throughout the school year: -

The role of the Standards and Curriculum Committee is to promote and maintain high quality teaching and learning for all children and to work with the Headteacher and staff to monitor and evaluate curriculum provision and standards of attainment and pupil progress throughout the school.  The Committee meetings are scheduled in accordance with the production of progress data and other key monitoring information so that these can be monitored throughout the year.

The Pay, Personnel and Finance Committee underpins the work of the Standards and Curriculum Committee by ensuring that school resources are used efficiently and effectively to support the delivery of high quality teaching and learning for all children. The Committee meetings are scheduled in accordance with key budget setting and review dates and statutory timescales.
